When there are so many different stores, it's hard to keep track of the best deals for the week. Here is a list of where to find the best deals for the week on some of the main staples for your home. The Dollar Tree (same info, just moved from a page to a post)

A couple weeks ago, I found out something that completely changed my world.  The Dollar Tree accepts coupons.  That's right, The Dollar Tree accepts coupons.  So, being a couponer (couponess?!?) with a coupon blog and a small following, I naturally went over there with my coupon binder and spent an hour browsing and talking with the manager.  Oh, and taking pictures of the shelves to remind myself of the awesome deals so I could tell all of you.  Yep, just a crazy chick with a coupon binder taking pictures of The Dollar Tree.

Here's what I found:
They sell a lot of cheap items (meaning inexpensive, not poorly made). They also sell quite a few name brand items that you could use coupons on.  As with any store, you need to make sure you're watching the quantities of items.  If you pay $1 for 20 garbage bags, it's not as good of a deal as 60 bags for $3 at a different store. However, there is serious potential for some great deals if you keep your eyes open.  I got 5 bars of soap (Dial and Softsoap) for $0.37 total.  Just paid the sales tax.  Can't beat that! It's definitely a great place to get good deals on things you can use coupons on, as well as cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, buckets, etc.  They have lots of household items as well.

I talked to Angie, the manager, and she clued me into the future of The Dollar Tree.  They are moving to the new building next to Kwik Trip and are hoping to be open at the new location July 1, 2013.  They have simply outgrown their current location in the mall and need more space to expand and get more merchandise.  One of the most exciting potential changes is the possibility of adding food to The Dollar Tree's inventory.  This will allow them to be licensed to accept EBT for food items.  The biggest thing Angie wants everyone to know is, "Our merchandise changes constantly, we're always getting new and different items."  This means more and more opportunities for coupon savings in the future!

Here are some of the brands I saw that I had coupons for in my binder:
Snapple
Kraft dressing
Campbell's soup
Bayer
Advil
Aleve
Pepto-bismal
Tylenol
Bic pens
Minute Maid juice
Swiss Miss
Gatorade
Sunny D
Renuzit air fresheners
Reynold's Wrap
Hefty bags
Ajax
Comet
Bounty paper towels
Kleenex
Halls
Sure deodorant
Secret deodorant
Speed Stick deodorant
Arrid deodorant
Arm and Hammer deodorant
Softsoap bar soap and liquid soap
Irish Spring soap
Zest soap
Dial soap
Jergens soap
Oil of Olay soap

As with any store, make sure you know what their coupon policy says.  HERE IS THE COUPON POLICY FOR THE DOLLAR TREE
